More about this coffee:

The Union of Ejidos and Communities San Fernando, who produce Sibactel, was constituted on 26 July 2012, with the aim of seeking the association of small coffee producers, who together would seek marketing channels for their product avoiding middlemen.

In the beginning, they produced conventional (non-organic) coffee. But as the organization matured, they began to consider which would be the most appropriate mechanisms to satisfy the organization's primary objectives, which were, in addition to the commercialization of coffee, to improve the social and economic conditions of the producers' environment, to care for and promote respect for the environment and to conserve renewable and non-renewable natural resources. In this sense, the organization began a process of transition from traditional to organic crops.

Today, the Union of Ejidos and Communities San Fernando is one of the most consolidated social enterprises in Chiapas, bringing together more than 1,300 families of small coffee producers who own an average of 2 hectares of coffee each, located throughout Chiapas.

Sibactel arrived with tasting notes of Graham Cracker, Vanilla, Milk Chocolate, and a hint of Peach.
